Lessons Learned from the Key Bridge Collapse (Enhancing Resilience in Critical Infrastructure Systems)
I am honored to be invited to speak at the "Enhancing Resilience in Critical Infrastructure Systems" roundtable, organized by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Maryland and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). The event brings together leading experts and researchers to share insights and lessons learned from the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse, with a focus on enhancing the resilience of our critical infrastructure systems. The sessions were incredibly enlightening, with panels on Bridges and Waterways, Risk and Supply Chain Management, and more.

New Project has been Awarded!
On October 20th, 2023, our recent proposal, entitled "Promoting Commute Equity in Maryland: A Machine Learning-Based Model Development Proposal" has been awarded an $80k grant by the Center for Multi-Modal Mobility in Urban, Rural, and Tribal Areas (CMMM).
